The games that tweens love most let them explore endless worlds, play with friends, and discover new challenges every time they log on. A new survey of kids aged 9 to 12 reveals which titles are dominating their screens right now, and the list shows a clear shift toward social and creative experiences.
Topping the chart is Roblox, a platform that has held the number one spot for years. Tweens love its mix of user-created games, from obstacle courses to role-playing adventures. Minecraft comes in second, offering a blocky sandbox where players build anything they can imagine. Both games allow kids to connect with friends in safe, moderated spaces.
Fortnite holds the third position, still popular for its fast-paced battles and regular live events. The survey also shows rising interest in mobile games like Subway Surfers and Among Us, which are easy to pick up and play during short breaks. Nintendo's Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom remain favorites for console owners.
Rounding out the top ten are Stumble Guys, a chaotic multiplayer party game, and Pokemon Go, which gets tweens moving outside. The list reflects a generation that values games as social hubs rather than just solo pastimes. Experts note that parents should keep an eye on screen time, but many of these titles encourage creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving.
