Martyn Brown, cofounder of Team17 and a stalwart of the gaming industry for 35 years, has sadly passed away at the age of 57. Brown was instrumental in founding Team17 in 1990 alongside Debbie Bestwick and Michael Robinson. His creative vision and leadership contributed to the development of over 50 video games, most notably the beloved titles Worms and Alien Breed, which have left an indelible mark on gaming culture.

Beyond his work with Team17, Brown established the consultancy Insight For Hire, where he provided valuable guidance and support to various game studios, including Double Eleven and Exient.
