In a stunning move, Nintendo has shadow-dropped a new version of the cult-classic RPG, Xenoblade Chronicles X, for its upcoming Switch 2 system. The release, available digitally starting today, has caught the gaming community completely off guard.
This enhanced edition promises to bring the vast, alien world of Mira to life with significant visual and performance upgrades tailored to the new hardware's capabilities. Fans of the original Wii U title, long hopeful for a port, are finally seeing their wishes fulfilled on a modern platform.
Furthermore, the company confirmed that a physical edition of Xenoblade Chronicles X for the Switch 2 will follow shortly, arriving on store shelves in April. This announcement is seen as a major boon for collectors and players who prefer tangible game copies.
