I played a lot of games while in Cologne for Gamescom 2025. Here’s eight that are coming out in 2025 and 2026 that I can’t stop thinking about. Each title showcased innovative gameplay mechanics, stunning visuals, and captivating narratives that promise to redefine the gaming experience.
One standout was an action-adventure game set in a beautifully crafted open world, where players can explore diverse environments and engage in thrilling combat. Another title featured a unique blend of puzzle-solving and platforming, challenging players to think creatively to progress through its intricately designed levels.
The immersive storytelling in a narrative-driven RPG captivated me, with characters that felt genuine and relatable. Additionally, a multiplayer shooter demonstrated impressive teamwork dynamics, allowing players to strategize in real-time.
Each of these games left a mark, showcasing the future of gaming with their originality and depth. I eagerly await their release, excited to dive back into these worlds.
