The Amazon Prime Video adaptation of the Fallout video game franchise is adding a major name to its cast for the upcoming third season. Aaron Paul, best known for his Emmy-winning role as Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad, has signed on to play a currently undisclosed character.
Details about Paul's role remain tightly under wraps. The showrunners have not confirmed whether he will portray an original character created for the series or a figure pulled from the expansive lore of the games. Given the show's established pattern of weaving familiar vault dwellers and wasteland wanderers into its narrative, speculation is already running high among fans.
Paul joins a cast that includes Ella Purnell as Lucy MacLean, Walton Goggins as The Ghoul, and Kyle MacLachlan as Hank MacLean. The series has been praised for its faithful yet inventive take on the post-apocalyptic world, blending dark humor with genuine pathos. Season 2 is currently in production, with a release date still unannounced. The addition of a star of Paul's caliber for Season 3 signals Amazon's continued commitment to the franchise as a flagship property.
